This is something I really deal with. Not something made up. I'm sure there are others, but to those who still have their parents; be thankful.

If you're not able to read:

Dear Mom,

Where are you tonight, alone and drinking again? Are you at some stranger's home to keep yourself from seeing the stars every night? Do you go hungry as days go by? It breaks my heart knowing you sat behind cold steel. I'm worried about you mom? But..I can't know your ok; for I can not handle the pain and sorrow you put apon us. It took all I had to escape the cold grasp of drunken hands. And; here I sit..worried if your ok. If only I could help..but I could not back then..I know I can not now. I can only love you from afar, hope the best for you, and dream of a better life for you.
